Hello Forum Members!
I have come across some S&W stocks that appear to be from the late 1940's-1950's that I am not certain if that is correct.
I have looked through all three Catalog of S&W books that I have and that is the approximate age that I can find at least.
Just looking for some verification and approximate values if possible.
I plan on posting a for sale ad in the Classified Section of the Forum once I get the facts as close as possible.
I have photographed both front and back of each and notated the stamped-in serial numbers and alphabetic ID if included. Only a single set/pair has the diamond shape around the screw bezel. One also has been slightly damaged at some point in its life by the user using a screwdriver with a blade that was too wide and made a chip in the checkering next to that bezel (Circled in red).
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much to the experts on this Forum!

The top set is for a fixed sight SB K frame, 1967-'73 (no diamond, blued stock circle).
The second, for a fixed sight or short barrel adjustable sight RB K frame, 1973 to early '80s.
The third, most interesting, for a fixed sight RB alloy K frame (model 12, called the KA frame by the factory), same time frame as the first set.
The first set of (diamond) RB J frame stocks is from about 1962, and the other set from about 1966.

Thank you both so much for the valued information.
Not as old as I thought via my S&W books.
The wealth of knowledge here is bottomless.
Might you have some values to add please?
I will post them for sale regardless of value, I would just like to have an idea.
Thanks!
Mike
