Hi fellas, I have some questions for the experts. . .
I just aquired a beautiful Model 29-5 CLASSIC. Here are the details:
The Serial # BNF222X
It has the 6.5" full under-lug barrel
It has a glossy black, high polish finish
It has the S&W Hogue style finger groove grips w/medallions and is a square butt I believe
It has a fluted cylinder
I have the box and papers for it but no cleaning utensils
On the box, under the "Spec. Ord." is the number 2177 6544
The product code is 101276
I would appreciate any help on the
Born on date
The approx. value (I am no expert but I would rate it @ 95%)
What the spec. ord. # means
And heck, anything else I might need or like to know !
I don't have any pics of it yet. I just brought it home . . .:^)
Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance !
