I have been looking for R.B. stocks for my 625 JM. Finally on that ebay site, found a reasonably priced new Hogue Stocks in package. Catalogue #25923. Well the picture on Hogue site had checkering. I then questioned if they were altered. Looked at special things Hogue would do. Stippling, instead of checkering. Never saw a set before. AND been wanting the striped butt cap for quite a while! They feel great in my hand. Bob

Those are really nice and I'm not sure how I overlooked them in my many ebay grip perusals - my loss, your gain. Very nice.

I ran Hogue's on my 625-2 for years, but just recently changed them out for a set of Keith Brown Combats.

Enjoy yours - great looking stocks.

Adios,

You are indeed fortunate to have been at the right place at the right time.... VERY pretty grips. They really look great on your 625. I wish that I still had the 625 that I had at one time---realy nice firearms. Cheers!!

The stippling looks well done, but looking at the top border it's not a Hogue custom job. Hogue's top border is rounded, where this one is more straight. Definitely unique.

Hmmm, I've never seen a set like that before either. I've always liked the look of the striped butt cap too. I just haven't been fortunate enough to find one.

I attempted a set of striped R.B. for my 686 Pro series. They did not fit, so I called Hogue. A service rep talked me through installation. Said they would be TIGHT. Said push hard and slow. I did, and they broke! I had to replace them with something else, because they had no more of what I ordered. Ended up with these. Bob
