Something to think about

Lol. I know Rambo was a very well special forces operator. That was merely a figure of speech. But seriously, I have seen those same figures and agree with them. I wasn't necessarily talking about firearms accidents either, but having to use a firearm in any "public" self defense situation. I remember when I went in the military and thought I could shoot anything because I had shot competition most of my life and hunted most of my life. Once I got there, I found that even with my knowledge of rifles and shotguns, I was ill prepared for my handgun training. This more what I am referring to.

Handguns good point is they are "Handy". The bad point is they are harder to shoot than accurately any rifle or shotgun.

I am going to say this as simply as I can.

If you want to mandate training for exercising a civil liberty , I want you to show me that not mandating training, which is the norm, is causing a real problem.

If I were pulled over (Im in SC), I would not inform the officer that I have a gun in the console. I'm not obligated to since I don't have a CWP. But if he asked I certainly would be honest about it.

Probably it wouldn't mean a thing to the officer but you never know who you get with the "luck of the draw", and I just don't want any more hassle than necessary.
