Sonic

Don't eat there because we don't eat fast food but I was with a friend one time that like is and after we got done at the range we hit a local Sonic. He recommended the jalapeno bacon cheese burger and even paid for it. I gotta admit it wasn't bad. I ever go there again I'll order another one. After all I've heard about the place I'd be afraid to order anything else.

I didn't know there were Sonics in MN, including one in an area of St. Paul that I frequent. Just never noticed it.

I ate at one a few years ago in Missouri. There was nothing about it that made me seek out another one. A foot-long chili dog, though? I might have to check it out.

Sonic isn't high on my list of places to eat, but if I'd eat there if there weren't any better choices nearby. I don't recall being overly impressed one way or the other with the food.

There was supposed to be one opening in my town, but last I heard that deal fell through. Which doesn't bother me as we already have more than enough mediocre fast food places in town.

The balding guy's routine reminds me of the dumb guy character that Tommy Smothers did in the 60s and 70s...Some of their commercials are mildly amusing but they haven't spurred me to go there. This area is saturated with fast food chain joints. I tend to stick with locally owned small restaurants when I eat out...There is a Sonic near here but it is near my favorite places for sushi, Indian, Italian and Mexican food so Sonic is unlikely to get my business.

I used to really like Sonic when I was working down south. :D

Then they came to Massachusetts.

After getting violently sick from the local Sonic food twice in a row I gave up. :( Never again. :o

Food is so so at best. Service never fails to disappoint no matter how low I set my expectations, I can always count on Sonic to come up with a new low. Last time I was handed three completely wrong orders before receiving mine. They will obviously hire anyone that breathes - assuming that is a qualification.

I tried them a few times but all the chicks were skanks with jailhouse tats. Their early commercials all had beautiful girls.

I dont base my eating preferences on the commercials for a particular business. If the food was worth eating i go back. If it gave me the bunny squirts, i dont go back. The local sonic is not on my list of preferred places to eat, but i do go there every so often when I get tired of the turkey burger from CarlsJr .
