King,
I see you kind of new here, this area is for reloading ammunition.
But any way I like for my K frames the HK 10A speed loader.

Hey, this is the "Reloading" section:D.

I agree with Pete on the HK speed loaders.

I'll be diffurnt.....

Carried Kel Light, (yeah, they made speedloaders too....), HKS, and later Safariland. Wouldn't buy anything but Safariland today. Faster and easier to use. Nothing to turn, just insert and the rounds drop in.

I'll jump on the HKS bandwagon, they may be a microsecond or two slower than some but they are tank tough and wont dump your rounds out all over the place before getting to the revolver.

Another vote for HKS. The turn is probably a touch slower than other offerings, but personally I like it. It's what I've practiced with the most and it's very positive and reliable.

I've got HKS loaders for the 686 I've been using since they became available for the 686. Those loaders have been dropped, thrown, stepped on used on gravel, concrete and sod. ALL of them still work fine

Depends on what you want 'em for...

HKS work great for range work and maybe carrying, but for competition and even better for carry is the Safariland loaders. The HKS hold the rounds "loose" which can make it tough to get them started. And believe it or not, you can accidentally dump them pretty easily. The Safariland will hold them absolutely rigid and will never dump them. The only down side to the Safariland...they may be a bit larger than the HKS. But the CompI model is about the same as HKS.

I have used HKS for years and have recently switched to Safariland exclusively. But, then again, that is for PPC competition.

Safariland Comp-II is all I use. I have 15 of them for either k-frame or j-frame revolvers, and they are wonderful.

Safariland all the way. The HKS speedloaders are not only a bit slower, but much more susceptible to dropping rounds when you didn't mean to. Safariland hold them nice and snug, and they cannot drop unless you press them into a waiting cylinder.

I prefer the Safariland Comp II loaders over the HKS loaders. I think they are faster and slightly more compact.

I am one of those idiots that has to buy/try every new gizmo he sees. I've bought every kind of speedloader I've ever seen, but now I'm almost 100% brand loyal. We used Safariland II loaders for our 66's and 681's when I worked in LE, and they were wonderful. They still are, and they're what I now carry on duty, four of them.

I have a bunch of the H&K speedloaders, and for whatever reason I'm not very good at working them properly, I either spew rounds everywhere but the gun, or I can't get it to work in anything under 30 seconds. The only time I use the H&K's is when I can't find a Safariland II in the caliber I'm carrying.

The Safariland II's are nigh on indestructible, we used to step on them and kick them all over the range floor when we were practicing reloads and I never saw one break.

I use the safariland SSIII speedloaders, and get very good times with them.

As you can see reload times are as low as 3 sec shot to shot.

Safariland Comp II for carry here. A huge step up from the HKS.

I started shooting competition before they had speedloaders. I used to put 6 rounds lined up in my mouth and dumped them in my hand. Then they came out with a speed loader form DADE CO MANF. It had a spring around the speedloader that held in the rounds, unless you dropped it. Then came the SAFARILAND with the little button. Then the SAFARILAND they have today and you just push and they are loaded, unless you get the competition ones that are spring loaded and they shoot them into the cylinder (that's my choice)..............THAT'S MY 2 CENTS WORTH.......CookE
