Just checking to see if anyone has feedback on the Springfield XDs 3.3 9mm single stack. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I traded into one in bi-tone a few years ago. After a lot of rounds through it, I've had zero malfunctions with various types and brands of ammo. It is also quite accurate at SD distances; the fiber-optic front sight mates cleanly with the white outline rear. It is a very nice, comfortable, shooter.

After the thorough testing, I stitched up and wet-formed an IWB holster (and double mag pouch) and put the XDs into regular CC use, alternating it with my S&W 438 and my Firestars in 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP.

With 3 7-rd mags and one in the chamber, I feel adequately armed and confident with the very reliable XDs.

Any specific questions about the XDs?

I was looking for information on reliability and how it carries for self defense. It sounds like you have had good luck with yours.

I loved the way that the XDs .45 looked and felt in my LGS so I bought it. I usually keep every pistol I purchase for years if not longer. I have several other .45 ACP pistols including a Shield .45, a M&Pc .45, a S&W CS .45, an S/A Ultra V-10 and several others. The .45 ACP is my favorite round to shoot. Well, I have never done this before but I traded the XDs .45 off after 2 weeks. I did not shoot it near as well as my Shield .45 or any of the others so I traded it in on a Glock 19 gen5.(My first GLOCK ever!)I hated them for 30 years. They never fit my hand. For ME the XDs did not come close to My Shield .45.
