Stag grips

Hi, if the grips are proportioned well to your hand (like in any set of grips) stags shoot extremely well and very comfortable. A Tyler T-grip makes 'em even more comfortable to me, generally. Plus, the Tyler helps one maintain the correct grip after the torque of the first (and subsequent) shot(s).

I've got 'em on J, K and N sizes and all do well.

I DO need to send my N set back to Patrick for him to narrow the width near the top on the right one though. There's nothing wrong with the grips now . . . except my hands are on the small size and on the N square frame the inside of my thumb is currently taking a little abuse from the torque . . . something that will go away with just a tad taken off that area! He's already offered to do this adjustment for me. Great guy!

Here they are, in descending size order:

Hope this helps,

Tom

PS: I've since added a Tyler to the K-frame size one in the middle.

Darn Tom! EVERYTIME I see that 25 I get excited. Have a 4" barrel coming for the 57. Grips and Tyler are in. Give me two months and it'll be complete. I love that revolver of your's! It is my all time favorite on the forum!

Thanks for the idea on my 57 and the pics. My Tyler is aluminum and I'm staying with a blued revolver. Not positive but I may stay with the 4" barrel depending on the price of the work.

Going deer huntin with the 57 here in Dec. There's a 8 pointer with a 210 gr. Speer Gold with it's name all over it. With luck # 38 will be feeding the family with some delicious venison. :)

Take care and
