Whoopy!!!!!!!!!! I'm very appreciative to be a part of this board although I don't visit as much as I used to because it's hard to find the time due to the work I do. Thanks to all that make this board possible.

First, I want to thank Lee and the Moderators for providing and maintaining this wonderful site for us. I think I speak for the whole forum family when I say that you folks do a great job and we're all grateful. Second, as the 1,000,000th Poster (Wow!), I want to personally thank you for the beautiful prize and assure you that I will put it to good use. Also, thanks to everyone for the great threads and the wealth of information and knowledge I have gained from you all.

Best Wishes to All,

I belong to a number of forums and have belonged to even more. Without a doubt, this forum is the most evenly and professionally moderated and run. There's more information, here, than can be absorbed except over long periods of studied reading... no flames... no nonsense. To all who makes this forum possible, my heartfelt thanks. This board is an excellent example of, "Job Well Done."

Sweet!!!! Proud and Glad to be here. There is absolutely a crazy amount of knowledge on the forum. Seems like some really nice people too. Decent people can be hard to come by these days...........Thanks everyone.........Sprefix

Handejector, you didn't mention that it cost me THOUSANDS of dollars to belong here!?!

Lee,

As a relatively long time member I want to express my appreciation again to you and all the moderators, past and present, for this forum which has become such an important part in my life. I have friends here...friends that I have never met in person but with whom I feel a brotherhood that is difficult to describe. When we come across each other on-line there is a feeling of understanding of each other that just feels comfortable. Just today at the Dallas Gun Show I met several "Forum Brothers". When "the Forum" is mentioned, there is an instantaneous bonding and feeling of trust.

Thanks!
Bob

Lee, congratulations to you and your entire team for reaching these milestones. I would like to echo the sentiments of many of the previous posts. Particularly the ones about the civility, intelligence, and open comraderie of the members of this forum. This is definitely the place to go for all things S&W. Thanks again for your professionalism.

70,000 ?

I remember when we were excited at our 100th member.
Thanks to the continued fine management. dan

WOW!!!!!......congrats on a very impressive milestone. Thank you all for the chance to be involved with such a great forum.

Great place to hang out. I appreciate what is available here every day.

Another milestone I noticed from the foot of the index page: most users ever online 2,252, a record reached less than two weeks ago. As I type, there are just over 2000 users currently on the forum. I bet the number will pass 2500 before the middle of he year.

Interesting to hear Osprey still visits. We had a lot of fun in some discussions back in the early years. I was just thinking about him this afternoon. My wife and I were wandering aimlessly around an antique show and there was a chest. It was labeled as the Surgeons Chest, HMS Osprey. It was big and well constructed. I didn't ask the price.

It's an honor and a priviledge to be a member here.

I've met some of the greatest collectors in the world here.

That I am able to contribute from time to time just makes it
that much more rewarding.

Gratitude to all who work tirelessly to keep this place what it is.

Regards
