Yeah, a neat little feature, I use it for a battery stash.

I use it for that 50 or 100 dollar bill Im hiding from the wife for a "emergency" such as new rail covers or a scope lol.. errr I mean I use it to store batteries too.. ya thats it lol

how do you get the actual stock part off? im thinking about going with a different one but cant get it to come off

Instead of pressing the stock slide release button in as usual for moving it, press it as far as it will go the other way. This will make the locking pin slide into the stock itself, thus allowing you to remove it very easily. Hope this helps man.
