Stockpiling weapons?

I can just see it now... the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, Explosives, and sharp sticks!

Want a new sharp stick then plan on filing form 4473125432194573123507674425! Oh and don't forget that tax stamp! Uncle's gotta get his cut too... :p

You forgot the manditory 48hrs waiting period for your sharp stick.

To me a stockpile implies amassing numbers of the same model-logistics, ease of ammo supply and repair, etc. Just looked at my stockpile, the largest number of firearms I have are in 22 LR, followed by 303 British, then 7.62 Russian.

Indeed. Back in England they look at you very sideways for having more than 3 or 4 in the same caliber. I believe certain jurisdictions in Australia are similar.

THIS is stockpiling and it is criminal. They get scratched and dinged up.

I sharpened some sticks. I'm gonna sharpen some more.
Good point. :o

A Pittsburgh "news" report on TV made a big deal about a man that was arrested for domestic violence that had a "Huge cache of guns and knives!" The video showed three semi auto handguns, two of which were .22's, a tactical looking shotgun, a Remington 7600 and about five folding knives.
That is a huge cache?? Five knives is a lot?

By the way, the wife was later arrested for domestic violence too. Seems she hit him with a bat or something first and he just defended himself. Too bad the TV news already branded him as a weapons hoarder.

About 5-6 years ago we had a news report that some old guy here (cant remember exactly which town but around Phila PA) had amassed a HUGE ARSENAL stockpile of MILITARY WEAPONS inside a storage shed in one of those U Store it places. Here I was thinking AR's, AKs, HKs, M60...you get the idea. Guess what he had!!...Take a guess....Yep he had MILITARY weapons...FROM THE LAST FREGGIN CENTURY! $*&$%)$%@ Mausers, Enfields, single shot English 455 something rifles, Krags,....And they were all in cardboard boxes. Like the kind that Century Arms uses. He was probably a C&R collector that had a bit too much to fit into his house.

Oh and when they showed a picture of this guy he was probably older then half those guns. I think if he would have shot one of those rifles the recoil would have dropped him on his butt

And this happend in South Carolina? God help us. When stuff like this happens there, we end up in some kind of rebellion. It happened in the 1700s and the 1800s, then nothing came about in the 1900s, so they're way past due.
