Storing your rifle

I'm sure their storage area is a little bigger than the average gun safe, wouldn't you think?

Hardly a realistic comparison worth a snide remark, IMHO.

I'm referring to reducing the humidity in the whole area. Dehumidifies DO work and reduce the humidity in the room and any non-sealed containers in the room. If the ambient humidity in a room is over 75 percent, a heating rod inside the average safe will have virtually no effect upon the humidity in the safe, as I said, unless you get one as big as the safe is tall and mounting it vertically. Again, this is from experience.
