In case anyone else has ordered from Streicher's, here is the e-mail I received from them this morning...

Thank you for your order with Streicher's! As we continue to work diligently with manufacturers to get more supply, we wanted to follow up and reaffirm that we have your order on file and ready to be shipped as soon as we receive additional inventory.

At this time, all backordered ammo and magazines are most likely a minimum of 6 months out. Barring any legal or regulatory changes, your order(s) will be filled in the order received with your purchase price honored. Further, you will NOT be charged until the order has shipped.

We appreciate your patience as the industry works through this unprecedented demand and we will continue to send updates as we receive new information. If you wish to change or cancel your order, please call our contact center at, 800-367-3763 (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM CT).

WOW!!! A likely 6 month back order for ammo and magazines? I wonder if most other places are facing the same situation.

Probably a CYA estimate. I'd expect it to stabilize long before 6 months.

If they tell you 6 months and deliver in 4 their hero's, if they tell you 3 and deliver in 4 their butt-holes! Manage expectations.

I canceled my Mag's from them a couple of days ago figuring most places wouldn't get them until the poop was done hitting the fan. Then everyone would get/not get them

I've ordered from them many times with no issues at all. My last order was about a week after Newtown. I ordered 10 30rd PMAGS and 4 25rd M&P15-22 mags. About a week later I received 4 of the PMAGS and all 4 of the 15-22 mags. I figured I would never see the other 6 PMAGS and was surprised when they were delivered about two weeks ago. I paid $13.05 per PMAG and $17.50 per 15-22 mag.

I realize things have gotten worse and almost every company is having issues getting product now.

Me too. I'll just wait to see what happens. At worst, 25 round magazines are banned and my order will be cancelled. At best, they will show up one day.
