I have a few stripper clips that are stamped with the "male symbol" (circle arrow) and 50. At first glance they appeared to be for a C96 however some research lead me to a sight that stated they are for a Czech 7,62/9mm, someone else posted they will also work for the Steyr M1911. I have read some other places they will also work for a C96. Can anyone confirm that these stripper clips are universal between all three firearms?

Those are charger clips for the Czech SMG Models 23 thru 26. Made in cals 7.62 Tokarev and 9mmLuger.
The clips were made at the old BRNO ammo plant (Provaske Strojarne (sp??!) and were common on the surplus market a few years ago when huge stocks of CommBloc milsurp ammo became available.

The ammo was generally removed from the clips by importers as they didn't fit anything common. The ammo was then sold in bulk. 9mmLuger and Tokarev ammo was and is always in demand.
The clips started showing up repackaged as C96 chargers and as Steyr chargers.
They are not really though they will work,,kind of,sort of,,in either of those pistols. The clips are a bit too narrow for a good fit in either of the pistols charger bridges.

Thank you for the info. Do you know if there is a market for them?

Yeh...I got some of those from Sarco a few years back for my Steyr M1912 pistol. Sarco advertised them as Czech sub-machinegun clips that are serviceable in Steyr pistols....and they do work pretty decent to feed a 9mm Steyr!
