Stupid IL Question.

I now own two S&W revolvers that have an IL with my latest aquisition being made today. This newest gun is used, has an IL but did not come with a box or an IL key. I was going to try a key from the other gun I have to see if it works but I didn't want to take a chance. My question is; are all the ILs the same and are all the keys the same? I'd just like to know "just in case".

Keys usually well-hidden inside of the paperwork and plastic bag, or under/above the foam (depending on the type of box).

In answer to the original question, the keys should be universal.

Keys are all the same. More like a security bit on electronics then an actual key.
