I was carrying my 642 on a daily basis and have enjoyed the security of how solid the gun is. I tried a lc9 but had a few issues, sent it to Ruger, they said they repaired it, got it back and sold it. I still wanted a flat 9mm so when the Shield came around I got one. I am so happy with it and so much more accurate than with the 642 that it is now my constant companion. The Stupid part is, I feel like I am cheating on my 642 with my Shield. Last night I swapped out the 9 for the 38 so the Airweight would not feel left out or something. I am an idiot! :o
Thanks for looking, neither gun is going anywhere.
Frank.

Don't sweat it. I'm really not a revolver guy. I shoot an autoloader MUCH better.

I felt the same when I started carrying my Makarov over my model 60...so to let the 60 know I still cared, I just carry em both!;) Dale

Yea, I am so over this, I just swapped out my Shield for the 642. Not giving it another thought. I'am an idiot.
Thanks for the replies people. I am not really stressing over this. It is just odd to have something on your person all of your waking hours and then it is suddenly different. I know, get over it.
Thanks for looking, Frank.

I guess you could carry both. On a TV show I once did on Conceal Carry me and another guy were on camera and with the two of us I think we had over 15 guns on our persons between us, as part of a demonstration. I just could hear the viewers saying good Lord! as we began pulling them out and placing on a table LOL, but it showed what was possible.

I am ambidextrous by birth, drove my teachers nuts. I practice both handed and shoot equally well. I loved shooting in offhand compititions when I was younger. Also do it with Bow&Arrow. I am better right handed at that though.

I can shoot with either hand fairly well, as I shoot long guns left handed & handguns right handed, I'm left eye dominate.
