I was carrying my 642 on a daily basis and have enjoyed the security of how solid the gun is. I tried a lc9 but had a few issues, sent it to Ruger, they said they repaired it, got it back and sold it. I still wanted a flat 9mm so when the Shield came around I got one. I am so happy with it and so much more accurate than with the 642 that it is now my constant companion. The Stupid part is, I feel like I am cheating on my 642 with my Shield. Last night I swapped out the 9 for the 38 so the Airweight would not feel left out or something. I am an idiot!
Thanks for looking, neither gun is going anywhere.
Frank.
