I just found a SW 66-3 with a 2.5" in what looks like good condition. It has SW black rubber grips.

They want $499. They would probably take lower.

What are these worth?

Probably originally came with magnas but a minor concern. The shorter barrels seem to command more money and although not P&R the -3 is a great variation. Price is fair if the unit is in good shape and will only appreciate with time. More others will chime in on this desirable revolver . good luck

Me, I'd be all over it at that price

I won mine, 66-2 with original grips and 2 1/2" barrel, last year at a local auction with the hammer dropping at $450.00. After the buyers premium and sales tax, it ended up costing me $535.00. I have seen two other since then selling for over $800.00.

If I were you, I would snap it up as soon as possible.

Price is RIGHT in my book on that 1! I bought a 66-2, 2.5" last month at the gun show. Was marked $795. I bought it for $725. Gun only! Shot it for the 1st time yesterday. Am very happy with it. Sure, more than I wanted to pay, but I "WANTED" it! Bob

I passed one up in that price range a couple months ago, don't be like me.[emoji20]

Thanks everyone.

I will check back there and see if it's still there.

Buy it or let me know where it is so I can...
You can get magnas from that period for 30-50 dollars readily depending on condition if that's your fancy.

All the LGS here put every nice revolver that comes in right on Gunbroker.

They have somebody at the computer screen all day watching auctions.

Gun Shows are generally better than going to an LGS or pawn shop around here.

In the stores display counters are MIM IL and Tupperware.

Buy it or let me know where to find it. 4" models selling for $700. Saw one purchased this morning. 66-2
