just added a new sw40ve to my collection yesterday,to go along with the sw9ve from just over a year ago.really are nice guns,have never had one problem whatsoever with the 9,looking forward to many fun-filled days with both.my question is about rebates.when i bought the 9mm s&w had a $50 rebate or 2 free mags.i took the mags.any chance they have a promo right now?been looking but have not seen anything about it.btw this is a great forum,nice folks & very helpful.

Congrats on a Fine Purchase! I just shot the SW40VE at the local range and was impressed. I have shot Ruger and Glock most of my adult years and always felt they fit strange in my grip. The feel of this firearm in my palm was exceptional, almost like it was made custom for me. Very nice groupings for me up close using 180gr Winchester White Box. I am headed up to Cabela's in the coming weeks to get ready for hunting season and I may just make the purchase myself. Great Forum!!~
