SW9F Problem?

hello, lurked for a while now but first post. My problem is on a 9F. The slide appears to have developed a small crack at the back where it engages the frame ears. i guess my question is that since i bought this second hand, would it be covered under waranty?

I'm betting they will replace the SW9F with the SW9VE. That has been the case for others here with problems on that model. I doubt they have replacement slides laying around for the SW9F. Be sure to let us know how it turns out.

well just got the notice from S&W that its on its way back. Dont know if they fixed it or replaced it, but ill keep you informed.

Its back. They replaced the slide and installed tritium night sights. Very pleased with the whole experence. Way to go S&W.

Glad yours is back, too. They replaced my tritium sight too, and fixed it so empties didn't eject on to the top of my head. But kinda funny, now you do NOT want to stand to my right- empties shoot outa there like a rocket. I shoot at an indoor range, and the empties hit that divider and bounce back on to my shoulder. Not complaining, shoulder is better than top of head lol. But main thing is to agree that S&W CS is really good.
