Swve9 won’t disassemble

Was cleaning this for a friend. Had a fair amount of rust so took it down almost completely. Reassembly on these appears to be tricky, or at least the trigger spring piece. Got it all back together I thought but apparently did not seat the trigger spring assembly to the retention pin. Gun will rack but since I cannot release the tension on the striker, I cannot disassemble it to correct the spring. Any advice?

Can you safely lock it back and remove the back plate without launching the striker?
