Wow! You really do like Torture. LOL

Here's one from about a month ago. Not a particularly good one, but at 10 yards at least. 10 shot groups, 9mm. Tighter groups are from my P320 with red dot, 2 looser groups on top are from my 2.0 5" M&P with iron sights.

Very Nice! I like the grouping from the 2.0 5" M&P with iron sights.

I shoot almost exclusively at a local indoor range but with the lighting it's sometimes difficult to see the target blur while concentrating on the front sight so I print targets with red centers that help a lot.

Shooting at 10yds indoors with 2 /2" and 3" revolvers is where I'm mostly at.

Great Shooting Guys! My thanks to all who have responded to my request for, Target Pictures of your shooting attainments. I especially like the ones that are shot @ 7-12 yds. This is more in the range of my shooting abilities. Being a very old arthirtic senior, the best I can hope for is the competence to be able shoot well enough to protect my wife and I if the occasion ever arises! Most all my target shooting is done in the range of: 7-10yds.
I enjoy all the image uploads, comments and hope to see more! Thanks Again, martybee

This was shot at 25 yards, using a reduced target, meant to simulate 50 yards. It was shot standing; unsupported. I'm pushing 70, but the Sig P 320 Compact makes me look good. The 7 shots in the group are sub 1 1/2". The other shots were all me, with poor trigger control. Even counting the shot I put into orbit, all 10 shots were under 5" (I just had to ruin that good group, didn't I?).

Some good shooters here.

I'm mostly a 7 yard guy and have learned to love the holes that wad cutters leave.

but my K-22 still does okay at 10 yards.

about those wadcutters; here is the right target

this with a 5" M&P hand ejector that shipped in 1939

That's really amazing shooting BlueRidgeBoy. What size is that target?

The 9 ring is about 5-1/2 inches in diameter, the 10 ring about 3-1/2 inches. The picture I posted is actual size. At least that is the way I scanned it, and the way it displays that way on my computer.

It is a standard NRA precision pistol (formerly conventional pistol) target.

Thanks for the compliment! :D

Model 60 at 25 yards. All those in the upper right were from a rookie first time shooter. This is an 8 inch target. I have no idea why but the model 60 will out shoot 5 different air weights with ease.

Glock 19 20 yards. 100 rounds. The two far out holes...... I don't know what happened there!

My targets are paper plates. Much cheaper and I figure if I can hit them at whatever distance then I'm doing ok.

I have a tool that can compensate for the size of the picture. So, if you have a B-6 sized target, the NRA standard target for timed 25 yard shooting, here are the measurements:
X ring ......................1.695 in
10 ring .....................3.36 in
9 ring .......................5.54 in
8 ring .......................8.00 in
7 ring .....................11.00 in
6 ring .....................14.80 in
5 ring .....................19.68 in

Using those measurements, I measured your group:

A 1.878" group at 25 yards, standing off hand, is impressive even if taking your time. Doing it under time pressure, even if 10 seconds seems generous to some, is really amazing shooting. You should consider joining the US Olympic team. No joke, that's a gold medal target.

Also, consider trying this: Rastoff's Challenge- Dropping the Gauntlet I'd love to see you give it a go.

25 yards, two five-shot strings, each fired in 10 seconds, 185 grain Federal .45 ACP match ammo, and one-handed (of course) fired from a tuned mil-spec Springfield Armory pistol.

That's what I'm talkin' about! Great shooting, but you'd be the first one to acknowledge that this target isn't outside the skill level of any master or high master NRA "precision pistol shooter"! Still, a nice target!

No offense, but I am seldom happy with my shooting skill level. There are so many aspects to shooting a handgun, that there is always room for improvement. "Good enough" ain't in my vocabulary. One thing though, with advancing age, I do have to accept my physical limitations.
