Tebow

In today's PC world, if Tebow was a Muslim, would so many be bashing him for his faith?

As my son said yesterday, "What do all the haters have to say now?"...

Don't worry they'll be out next week waiting for him to fall flat on his face vs the Pats, count on it. And if he does fall flat, sooner or later we all do, he'll pick himself up and dust himself off.

Michael Vick has been given a second chance and I pray it works out for him...Tebow has been given by the press almost no chance and all the negative PC and sportscasters made me supportive of him..."short answer was there were no atheists at Chosin Res. only Marines fighting for their lives"

Broncos beat both the Steelers and the refs today.

It was a poorly refereed game. Early whistle kept Denver from recovering a fumble. They missed two 15 yard penalties for face mask. Still Denver played better and won today. I don't think that they could have been a healthy Steelers team though.

Tebow is a leader and his team rallies around him. He puts the game in perspective (i.e. it is just a game) and yet still comes out and puts 110% on every play. He is a good man. I don't know how you cannot respect the man.

316 yards AND 31.6 per completion

and,,,I was listening to local sports talk radio this afternoon and it was pointed out that, of the officials on the field, one was named Matthew, one was Mark, one was Luke and another John. The other 2 were unidentified. Suppossedly, the talk show guys had verified it. ???? I don't know?

While still do not believe that Tebow is a starting QB in the NFL, I was impressed by his play. Still, the object of every team in the NFL is to win a Super Bowl, and I am not convinced that Tebow is the QB to do it. I really wish him well and do not dislike him at all. Would love to see them upset the Pats. Remember the phrase, "On any given Sunday....".

like others have said elsewhere, nobody ever criticized "The Minister of Defense" Reggie White for speaking out about his faith. imo he was the greatest at his position ever and NEVER was ashamed to thank his Lord and Saviour.
if Tebows religious beliefs keep him thinking positively and focused, especially late in the game when he really seems to become productive, more power to him. Go Tebow!

He reminds me of Joe Capp of the old Minnesota Vikings - plays with his heart - loves to win and every once in a while, his passes looked like he was kicking a field goal instead of throwing a pass! Yep - just like old Joe Capp.

Hope he takes them all the way - I've seen enough Green Bay and NE anyway - time for someone new.

Pete

Just wondering - at what point will Tebow be accepted as a starting pro QB?

Good point Jeb, They caught the Steelers at a very good time, Big Ben was hobbled, Starting Running Back Mendenhall out, Starting Safety Ryan Clark out, which forced Palomaulu to play out of position. But being a Steelers fan since the days of the "Steel Curtain", Bradshaw and Franco Harris, i still give the credit to the Broncos. Congrats to the "TEAM" as well as Tebow. They outplayed my Steelers in all aspects of the game.

Nothing against Tebow but it hasn't been easy being a KC fan and living in Colorado Springs Colorado recently. My phone was under attack by all the Bronco fans I was talking trash to. More power to the young man as he is a great competitor but I really need a break from all the Donkey talk.
