I grew up in Brooklyn and went to Brooklyn Tech as well. I once dated a gal who lived in the Bronx. I went to her place three times, got lost three times, and finally just gave up. I went back to the old neighborhood last weekend for a visit. Just amazing. Houses that were drug dens thirty years ago are now selling for $3 million plus!
They were great days though.
