My Grands first time with the M&P.

Of course they loved it and the youngest -7 couldn`t get enough.

She hit everything she aimed at and even liked loading the mags. She thought it was fun.

The other kids were equally thrilled with it and hit well also.

That`s my kind of Girl!!!

My daughter like it too, she just wishes it was pink.

Always good to see the next generation of firearms enthusiasts being properly introduced to the sport.

Here's my daughter. I've since added a bipod for her.

She had ear plugs in but its suppressed so there's no real noise. The eye pro, well that was my bad, she usually has them on.

I used to not worry much about eye protection until a .38 wad cutter came straight back and pasted me on the cheek, real close to my eye, then another time a revolver shed a piece of lead in my face.

We tend to not take .22`s seriously and I was not wearing glasses the first time I shot the 15-22 , don`t you know somewhere about the 4th or 5th shot I had one explode prematurely before the bolt was fully closed. I got a face full of gas and small particles of stuff.
No damage done except to my pride.

Thankfully it has been perfect ever since ,but I will not take a chance with Grand children eyes NEVER!

I complain a lot about PC and the lack of common sense in our society, but gun safety is one area where you can`t be too PC.

Low Down, she's a beauty and I'm sure you want to keep her that way.

As for the ears and a suppressor, I personally have witnessed where someone moved up to a larger caliber in their shooting session and forgot all about the ears - and paid the price.

Without going into detail, I've paid the price and have to wear hearing aids. I'm so anal about it that when I started my grandkids on BB and pellet guns I made them wear eye protection for obvious reasons but also put hearing protection on them - wanted them to get in the habit of both when ever they picked up a gun.

Cheers

Glad to see everyone is busting my stones about it, just keep that in your mind the next time your kids are in the car and you don't use a turn signal or go over the speed limit because its dangers and you're all guilty of it. Next time I'll make.sure she has plugs, muffs, boots, safety glasses and plate carrier on.

I don't think it's PC

It's just common sense safety. I agree with jack about "gun safety is one area where you can`t be too" careful

15-22 is a great kids gun. I have a cricket also, they can hold that one up until they're big enough for offhand with the 15-22, about age 11 or 12. Good to see.

some may say it's wayyy too much pink...but it's her rifle, and it's now the way she wants it :D
My 9 year old Kennedy with her 'KPR' she calls it (Kennedy's Pink Rifle)
