Well it happened! The law just went into effect and a permitted man stopped a robbery where the two robbers had a sawed off shotgun and were threatening customers and a clerk at a grocery store.

MILWAUKEE -- A Milwaukee man will not face any charges after shooting a robbery suspect at a Milwaukee grocery store.
On Friday, the Milwaukee County district attorney praised his actions.
Nazir Al-Mujaahid first told 12 News that when he saw a man holding up a sawed off shotgun threatening a cashier in Aldi's on Monday, he knew it was time to use his concealed carry training.
"There was a gentleman behind him. I nodded him to get out of the way. Thank God he saw and got out of the way, and that's when I had to fire at the gentleman," Al-Mujaahid said.

The real funny thing is this store had posted NO WEAPONS signs and had two unarmed guards inside. The permit holder did not see the non-conforming signs and entered the store with his sidearm.

The criminals just ignored the no weapons rule.... Maybe this will prompt some businesses to take down their signs!!

Saw him on the news seems like a decent guy, the robbers have long criminal records so they probably need a little vacation in the Waupan area.

I live really close to Waupun. They stick some real weirdos in there...

I wonder if the robbers figured they would be the only one with guns. Just proves how useless the no guns or weapons signs are. Except that bad guys think we good guys will follow the signs. I make it a practice to never go into any place that has a no guns sign displayed. Why give them my business....

Love these stories -should be in all the papers and newscasts, and told in the positive manner it deserves.

I follow the same practice, no matter how inconvenient it may be for me. The Post Office is my only exception.
