Another day, another life, in another state this was part of my daily uniform. I've since moved on to other endeavors, but I still like 5" 29's.

Not meaning to hijack the thread, but can anyone ID the grips on CW3PA's .44 mag? I have a set like this for a K frame and was curious who the maker is.

M29-4 with 3" bbl, unfluted cylinder, full underlug, and rnd butt. This was post 1980, but it is an M29!

I had it Magna-Ported before I knew any better. Still no regrets.

My newly acquired 29-2. Just picked it up this afternoon.

Also, my first nickel plated gun.

I have a 29-4 as well but don't know much about it. I was told it came from the S&W custom shop, but I don't neccessarily believe that. It has and 8 3/8 barrel with an unfluted cylinder and full length ejector shroud. Also has Hogue grips. Do you know much about these guns or possibly what I've got? Thanks for your help.

Great photos and guns from all!

Here's my 29-2. Purchased it new in '75. Later killed my only deer with it. Later many 1000s of rounds fired in IHMSA revolver silhouette matches. Shot it so much the red insert fell out of the front sight a coupkle of times. Replaced that with the patridge one. Its pretty much retired now (like me, I guess).
