Much as I dislike locks, I have to agree that it needs to be fixed or plugged. Don't leave it like it is. Same advise to anyone with a disabled lock. An open invitation for something bad to happen in the future.

Pardon my ignorance but are the internal lock parts swappable between frames? I removed the lock on the XFrame and thats all
