The perfect handgun.

I have tried many, and keep coming back to my M60-15.
A good compromise between concealability and function. Fits my hand well, and is the gun I practice the with the most. Buffalo Bore 158 gr "FBI" load in cylinder, and their 158 gr "Outdoorsman" in the speed strip.

Best,

I have not yet found my perfect handgun. However, the best overall pistol for me at this time is my Colt Lightweight Commander in 45ACP. I am just more accurate and consistent with it. That said, I am left handed, and one thing I require on my 1911's (and always add) is an ambi safety. It is something i would like to see as standard from the factory.

A close second is my M&P40 Full Size, which may at times overtake the 1911 (I seriously have been having a hard time deciding between the two lately).

FWIW, I started with a 3" K frame Model 65, and have a soft spot for K frame .357's. They are a #1 nostalgic choice, and still quite capable. I have at times thought about getting rid of all my auto's and going back to a 3" K in .357. Second on the nostalgia scale would be the 3rd gen S&W pistols. They are some of the best auto's out there IMO. I hope to find a 4006 TSW that I can purchase one day.

YMMV,
