Why in the world would we advise
what type weapons we are sending to Ukraine ?
Not much OP SEC, a stupid way to do this. Never tell what you will/won't do.

That's easy - Russian 20-somethings are like 20-somethings everywhere, glued to social media. They can use Ukrainian signal, so they get our news stuff Russian people don't. Don't you suppose there's value in them knowing the **** that's killing them is coming in greater numbers and lethality? While they are forced to forage for food and use Soviet-era munitions? PsyOps come in many forms. Why in the world would we advise

Beyond that, any countermeasures the Russians take help the Ukrainians. Massed groups, massed armor, massed rockets/arty is the Ruskie standard playbook, so if they disperse in terrain they don't own, they're even more vulnerable. They might find more food, though. It's highly likely that the Ukrainians (and I don't mean just some high officials) knowing that large amounts of effective stuff are on the way has a bigger positive effect on their fighting effort, than any advantage the Russians get from the same information might hurt.
4th Russian general, Oleg Mityarv, killed in Ukraine.

Here's a good WaPo article profiling four Ukrainian women fighting in the war.
One, a 55 year-old medical assistant, has this to say:
"I realize that I'm ready to tear the enemies' throats with my teeth," she said. "Each and every one of us will do that to them. And the land will burn under their feet."

Locked in his bunker, surrounded by yes men, cut off from reality, and wondering what happened. Not a good plan. Sounds a bit like an Austrian corporal some years back.
Except Herr Hilter had actual combat experience. Putin is used to torturing and poisoning people without getting his hands scratched.Locked in his bunker, surrounded by yes men, cut off from reality, and wondering what happened. Not a good plan.
