The Ultimate Model 10 Thread!

Great looking Model 10s guys!

Here is my $275 5" 10-5. I shoot it about the best out of any of my handguns. She wears a Pachmayr adapter now and fits the hand and balances like a dream.

How about a rust bucket rescue... I don't have original pics and I didn't GunKote her, but I'm told she looked pretty pitted rough before. The GK gives her a bit of a parkerized look and I love it. Didn't get to the range to test her this weekend. Maybe the next one.

My favorite pre M-10 is my old, beat up KPD stamped, early C-prefix gun (1947-48)with a 2 inch barrel. Can't post pics right now, but she definitely has character!

Well I guess I'm just late to the game! I thought I had already joined the party, but no, so here goes!

These are by no means my first S&W's but I have to admit that nickel pre-model 10 is the one that started my current affliction with Smiths! And, fortunately, I'm permanently afflicted!

You Sir, have a good eye! :D

It's funny how these things find you and not the other way around! I'd sure like to find an original box for it. THAT hasn't found me yet! :(

I have a 10-5 6" in S&W bright blue. Like new. It has gold inlay in the markings. Wish I knew how to post a picture. Would like to know why these guns are priced so much lower than a lot of the other models? This gun is really nice and I will try to post a pic.
