I have found two this year. Never got around to posting either one. So here are my, new to me, 3.5", 4" and my latest, the 5".

Great thread and pics. Those ^^^ are great too - extra so . So I hate you ( kidding of course). I never thought too much about owning the Reg Mags but I have only had S&W a couple of years now.

I bought a light box but now I have to get set up and do some polishing and take some pictures .

Thanks to all of you for showing their 27s .

No pic's yet, as I just sent the certified check off this morning for my first 27- a dash 2 model from 1961... ! Anxious to receive it- have wanted one since I obtained my first S&W revolver- a '69 14-2, which showed me what owning a vintage S&W revolver was all about, then only a matter of time until I discovered model 27's- and HAD to have one!
No more plastic guns fer' me!

My growing collection. From the left back position - 2 RMs, 1 non RM, 6 pre 27s - middle row, all 27 no dash -right side, all 27-2s.

Still looking for a 27-2 nickel 6 1/2 inch and a 27-2 blue 4 inch.(found the blue 4 inch)

5 inch 27 no dash 4 screw shown with Grandpapa. Grandpa will be going up for auction as soon as I get the history paper work straitened out. Retired from my job and can use a little extra change at this time.

There is nothing better than well polished nicely grained premium wood to dress up a gun. This gun will be hard to beat.

The revolver and grips look superb!!!! Did you use Ren Wax or something else on the grips?
