There’s just something about snub nose revolvers!

Like the title says, I love snub nose revolvers. I think I'm up to 14 now and still looking.

Besides snub nose I've taken a shine to 32 Long guns. I traded a near new nickel 37 snub nose to a friend for his unfired 1953 Colt Cobra 32 which just got me into the 32 Long love affair. Next was a mint 30-1 2" and this weekend I found a fairly nice I frame Smith pre 30 2" I believe is from around 1951-52. It's not perfect but solid and not as beat up as I am so I couldn't resist and brought it home from the local collectors show.

This one ticked most of the boxes with the I frame and half moon front sight. Like I said it's not perfect so I won't feel bad about shooting it.

If anyone has SN info the number is 5899xx. I did some research on the forum and found one member had one just 210 digits off my serial number.

I'd love any information and to see your 32 snub nose I frames.

I am a piker. Down to two now, nothing to rave about. One is a Model 60-7 Ladysmith. The other started life as a Model 30-1 .32 Long, now it is a ,32 H&R Mag.

6 screw hand ejector snub

The 64-2 I recently picked up here.
32 hand ejector has flat mainspring just like the 38 terrier both around the same age.
Then my baby cheif & 32 pocket positive from 1924, sweet piece. Also an 1980 ish charter.

I, too, have a deep affection for snubnose S&Ws. I don't have a "family photo," but I can share my favorite I-frame .32, serial number 539695, which shipped November 18, 1949.

I have a few snubbies, but none of them is .32. Mine are either .38 Special or .357 Magnum...and my wife's is .22 Magnum.

I only have one. A Model 64 (no dash) I bought new in 1976 for $145. A reliable companion both on and off duty for many years. Hard to find a better all around snub nose than a K frame .38 special with round butt.

It's hard to pick a favorite but this one is my 1948 (birth year) M&P. The second one is a 1964, I think, model 10. The M&P belonged to a Chicago police officer and was carried off duty. He sold it to a friend of mine in 1960 and then was sold to me a few years ago.

The M10 appears to have spent most of its life in a sock drawer. I doubt there had been a box fired through it.

I think my love for snub nose was inspired by Joe Friday. I used to love Dragnet, Peter Gunn Mr Lucky. Basically I loved about any detective show or western of the 50's and 60's.

A couple more snub nose.

The first is a recently acquired Centennial M40, second a 3rd version Detective Special, third is my dads 66-2 and last is an M32-1 Terrier in 38 S&W.

Funny thing, I've never owned a model 36 or 60. I've had two m37's and a 649 but neither currently. I've had several opportunities on 36's and passed on a 3" 60 Target no dash and really regret letting that one get away.

The shortest barreled factory N frames I've owned were 3" 29-4 and some 24-3's...I have several 3 1/2" factory N frames at the moment including .357's and one .44 Spl......Ben
