Thinking about a new M29 but a new M10 has me worried

I have looked at more that’s a few of the new 29s, but haven’t actually used one. Other than the stocks, which would be murderous for my hands, I don’t see too much wrong with them and wouldn’t be afraid to buy one. They’re not as pretty as the older guns, but if you’re buying to actually use, not to just leave lying around to look at, they’ll do. If pretty is what you’re after, I would look for an older version.

I never needed the warranty on any of my "old" revolvers, and from what Ive read here, the warranties on the NEW guns are basically worthless.

you have been fortunate to never have needed warranty service. I have had to use it a number of times over the years.

I had to use it on a couple of pre-locks i purchased used, both produced before the lifetime warranty from 1989. work was prompt and well done. of course I had to pay for it as they were pre 89.

I needed to use the warranty dept on 3 different "new" revolvers I had purchased as well. work was of the same quality as the 2 previously mentioned guns and also returned promptly. I imagine they were worked on by the same folks who did the other 2

perhaps I have been lucky with my experiences, but i have had 5 good ones.
