And I know exactly what Lee is talking about with the IP block ban. Certain IP blocks seem to have an inordinate number of spammers and I've seen times when IP blocks were needed to keep the Mods sane back when I did some moderating on a tech site.

Glad you're back. The forum is always good for at least one good chuckle per day. Of course it should be with such a large population of chuckleheads aboard. Never short of characters around here. Thank goodness we have a few normal people like me to keep it balanced. Now if you'll excuse me, the voices are telling me I need some sleep...which is quite a change. They kept me up all night last night.

My operating system, Windows Vista will be obsolete and no longer supported in about two weeks. I'm going to have to have a newer system installed; wish me luck on that one.

We banned a certain partial IP quite some time ago, probably because a lot of spam was coming from it.

Apparently, your IP address recently changed to one that begins with those sets of numbers.
Interestingly, two other foreign members had the same problem this week.
I removed that IP from the blocked list and it fixed the problem.
