The current state of College Football saddens me, the end of the Pac 12 and the many old rivalries that will no longer be played is a sad situation. I know it's all about the money, but this and all the other recent changes are hard on a long time College football fan to take.

What are your thoughts on the situation.

I'm not as big a fan as I used to be. Teams changing conferences constantly and a handful of teams always dominating makes it hard to keep track of, when you're just a casual fan. I grew up liking West Virginia and Penn State. We're an NFL town so must people around here are focused on that. Even though UB is a division I school.
Go Bills!!!!!!

I have never been a rabid fan of any form of football except when my school was playing, or Nebraska. My wife was the big Nebraska fan because we are both from Omaha. BUT, no matter what else, once you get past High School you have to remember that the "Bottom Line" is the bottom line no matter what sport, Pro, amateur, college, etc. once the games are televised.

I do have a hard time envisioning the "Big Eighteen" though.

This a very sad thing with the PAC 12. Too much $$ involved. No faith in George.

I gave up on the NFL when it became all about me instead of the team. I gave up on college football for the same reason. Dancing and strutting about like you're the baddest player ever when you're down by 21 points just doesn't impress me. Every college player has a Nike swoosh on his jersey says it all. And now they expect to be paid--like free tuition is not good enough.

I was pretty unhappy when the Southwest Conference dissolved, but the team I followed continued to play with little disruption to traditional rivalries.

Texas continues to play Oklahoma.
