No pictures but I do have a very nice 17-3 that I enjoy shooting. My Ruger MK .22 pistols have been getting the most use for a while . In fact I hadn't shot my 17-3 in quite some time and took it out just a few weeks ago to get reacquainted .
speaking of .22s - I have a 317 Airlite (2" barrel, inherited from my brother, never fired). The hammer pull (and trigger pull) are incredibly stiff. I have had S&W .22s before (not this model) and none of them approached this pull effort. Any ideas? Is it normal? Can it be "fixed"?
Sigh...........no S&W .22s in my stable.....

My first .22 revolver was a Ruger Single Six with a .22 magnum cylinder. A great .22 and IMO, a classic.
You can replace the springs. Wolff makes them.speaking of .22s - I have a 317 Airlite (2" barrel, inherited from my brother, never fired). The hammer pull (and trigger pull) are incredibly stiff.
