Time to show off 22's!

My pair of .22 revolvers

A 1958 4 screw Model 18 and a 617 ND.
Thanks for helping me select range guns for today's trip. Another thread asked for 4" N frames; so, my 2 28-2's were also selected for this morning's outing. A CZ 75 Compact will round out the assortment. It's my least favorite ("most hated") handgun.
I'll post a new thread with range report, later.

Nickel plated, recessed cylinder, round butt, Model 34-1. Sadly, sold it to upgrade to a nickel plated, pinned barrel and recessed cylinder Combat Magnum Model 19-4. Wish I could have afforded to keep it!

Here are my .22 Smith & Wesson. All shoot way better than I'm capable of shooting.

I'm doing all-night gun show security this weekend and there's a 4-inch Model 48-4 on an exhibitor's table here, new, unfired in the box for $1450.

Just wouldn'd do for me to have that one for I'd only shoot the hooey out of it.

That price is pretty crazy! I got this one UNFIRED NIB on a trade. I gave up my pristine 296Ti in original leatherette case for it, which I thought was an excellent deal. Both of us were quite happy.

I shot my 48 the day I got it :)

Here are a couple of mine, one looker and one shooter. A late thirties as new outdoorsman. and an early 50's K22 that I shoot every chance I get.

Over the years I taught many beginners how to shoot using this Taurus
Model 94. The boots are from Altamont. The basketweave holster is
from Brauer Bros. Gave it to a great-grandson a couple of Christmas's
ago, but kept the pictures.

I have three rimfire Smith & Wessons. I haven't come across any of the newer ones that speak to me, but I do have a 48-3, a K22 Combat Masterpiece, and a K22 Masterpiece. I'll post some pictures of them.

I think we've discovered what caused the 22 LR shortage a while back! :D We love our 22's don't we?

This 17-2 was poorly cared for in it's previous life, but I've tried to make up for it by being extremely nice to it, and shooting it whenever I get a chance.

Thinking about a 10 round 617 next.
