To the owner's of the slide fire stock

I've had a Slide Fire on my M&P 15-22 for a few months and have taken it to the range several times only to be disappointed with the results. I couldn't get any more than three round bursts at a time. I finally purchased and installed last week a 3 pound trigger from CMC and the recoil enhancer by Slide Fire. I hadn't had time to get back to the range until yesterday. Don't know if it was the new trigger or the recoil enhancer or the combination of both, but what a difference! I went through four 25 round mags and a 50 round drum with no problems.

What happens to make your firing string stop??

I initially had problems with failure to fires. Light primer strikes with a 3 lb Timney trigger. Once I changed out the firing pin spring no problems at all

I am glad to hear that most of you are experiencing good results with the full recommended set-up (reverse break, stock, & trigger). My plans of adding the Slide Fire stock came to a sudden halt after letting the wife shoot it. She has decided she may be a little bit better owner, and strong armed my new toy! I am currently on the hunt for a S&W M&P15 to revive my dreams of adding the Slide Fire...

I picked it up at Ace hardware in the plastic drawers.
