One of the latest Liberty ins. commercials features 'Doug' blowing on a bird whistle call. It drives our dogs crazy which drives us crazy racing to find the remote to mute it.
Anybody else with dogs experiencing that?
My wife emailed the company and asked them to quit airing that commercial. Apparently, she hasn't been the only one.
I have noticed lately that the worst half of the commercial has been dropped 90% of the time.
Maybe asking does work sometimes?

I have an ancient small dog who isn't very good about going outside anymore. The cat hates that. She's taken to yelling at her and me at 5 pm and leading Sadie out the back door

Our 13 year old toy poodle is getting like that :(

My Pavlov's cats are conditioned to go berserk at the sound of the Temptations box being shaken.

It has gotten to where we can't shake out pills or cereal without being stormed.

Ours do also. Any rattling that sounds like dry food or treats and they are all over you.

Every time Werewolf's in London came on the radio my hounds would gather around the speakers and howl with the song.

My dogs would do the same (but bark) with that dogs barking jingle bells song they would play at Christmas.

My son also thought the Feliz Navidad song by Jose Feliciano was saying/singing "Fleas are on the Dog."

Liberty doesn't have a dog problem; you (and others) have a dog problem.

The whistling at the end of the "Longest Day" drove my Border Collie/terrier mix absolutely berserk. Nothing else ever effected her like that!

Our dog is occasionally fascinated by the TV, but I haven't noticed her paying any attention to the Liberty Mutual commercials...

If a dog or really any animal is on the screen our beagle mix is locked on the TV. There was another commercial that featured the Running of the Bulldogs that would start with the traditional horn music played at bull fights. No matter where that dog is, if it hears that song it makes a beeline to the TV. She's pretty smart about associating sounds with visual stimuli.
