I picked up these two today.
I was in a gun shop across the state line yesterday and found the first year of production Model 67 with the stainless rear sight. It was marked $649. I got it for $654, out the door. It had to come to TN so I could pick it up, though. Luckily for me the owner of the shop here is the son of the owner of the other store and he makes runs to bring guns up on Wednesday with no extra charge for the service. (I did have to pay TN $10 for the background check, though, so my total was $664.)
Then, I had the winning bid last night on the 10-6 through a local auction house. It's a Century Arms reimport from some overseas law enforcement agency. I wish I knew which agency, but there are no markings to indicate where it previously served. It came with non-serial number-matching magna grips, but I swapped them with the Hogues for more comfortable shooting. With background check buyer's premium, and CC fee, I paid something like $518, out the door.
All in all, I think I did alright and I'm comfortable with the total price for both guns.
