Don't know why I remember this little poem I read somewhere,
about a hundred years ago, but I can't remember what I read
yesterday. Don't remember the author either.

Nice night in June,
Stars shine big moon.

In park on bench,
with girl in clinch.

Me say me love,
she coo like dove.

Me smart me fast,
never let chance pass.

Me say get hitched,
She say OK.

Wedding bells ring ring,
honeymoon everything.

Another night in June,
aint happy no more.

Life is one,
big chore.

Carry baby,
walk floor.

Nagging wife,
bawling brat.

Life one,
big spat.

Me realize,
at last.

Me too damn fast.
