Depending on what you are doing, running a tractor and be a relatively clean and cool operation or an extremely dirty and sweaty mess.
The first picture is the tractor after bush hogging the roads. The tractor operator (me) looks about as bad. Under these conditions I usually have a Glock in a fanny bag as the dust is just incredible. Honestly this is about the only time I carry the Glock but you can wash it with a hose afterwards.
My wife is moving a stump in the next picture. This is a pretty clean operation. When I am doing something like that I carry the GP100 in the Simply Rugged holster. This holster is now not quite so pristine but still works great.
I prefer revolvers anyway but when you are doing farm work they work out pretty well because you can pattern load them or tailor your loads to the task at hand. I like .357s because it's so easy to work up loads, I hunt with a .357 carbine and .357 is economical with powder and shot.
