Trigger Rebound Spring

You learn something new every day (hopefully).

My Model 14 has a trigger overtravel stop visible at the back of the trigger guard. My Model 19 has a slot there, presumably for the same thing, but w/o the stop, probably because it wasn't felt necessary on that model.

I believe at some point the trigger stops became a problem in a few police guns and they started removing them.

You can still find them and the srew is the same one used at the forward end of the rear sight.
