Hi:
I have a older Glock Model 17 with very dim Trijion Night Sights.
I would like to replace the sights.
The rear sight is a "Dovetail".
The front sight instead of having a screw inside the slide, it appears to have a recessed pin.
What is the method of removing the front sight?
Thank you,
Jimmy

you have to take the slide off and there is a screw coming from beneath the sight.

There are usually two types of front sight installations of night sights on Glocks. First is with the screw, which you don't have. The second front sight has a stem that is expanded like a rivet. You can either use a punch to drive out the sight or use pliers to grasp the front sight and twist it to break the stem and remove it.

Trijicon will re-lamp your existing sights for you. From their FAQ's on the website:

"The warranty on my night sights has expired. Can I get them recharged?

Tritium can not be 'recharged', however, we can replace the lamps for a nominal fee. Please contact our Customer Service Department for return and payment instructions or submit a Return Authorization Request"
