True story on breaking an entering

I'm assuming this wasn't Cleveland Police.
Actually it was.

I was stopped in traffic on I-90 just before the West 25th St. exit, waiting to proceed onto the I-90 ramp into downtown. I had actually been stopped for seconds before I was hit, so the guy who hit me obviously wasn't paying attention. He was probably on the phone.

I pulled off the side of the road just past the exit and dialed 911. They tried to avoid coming, but I didn't know if my car was further drivable, and the guy who hit me totaled his truck. It looked like he'd hit a wall.

About half the time I've had contact with the Cleveland PD, they acted like I was imposing upon them. The other half of the time, they actually did their jobs. This was an example of the latter.

Wow! When I had my accident (rearended at I77,55th exit). They had me drive to the district headquarters and fill out a report.

I have respect for almost all police officers, and what they do. With that said; Putting everything in a nutshell. One must understand that the police can only RESPOND.

Best Wishes,
Tom
