Two unrelated questions on S&W "Classics"

I would love to find a K32 to use in Bullseye shooting but (a) they are rare (b) they are very pricey and (c) given those factors should I ever stumble upon one I'd likely be afraid of using the thing.

Thus my first question: would you think there is enough of a market for S&W to add the K32 to their "Classics" series?

and my other query:

Does S&W usually announce additions to this series at certain times of the year or is that erratic?

I know nothing about the gun in question, but S&W usually announces it's new releases at the S.H.O.T. Show taking place in Las Vegas in mid Jan. So in a few weeks, we'll know what S&W has planned.

It would be neat to see them due a model 16 'Classic' if even for no more than a year or so.
I agree with the Shot Show comments above for any announcements.

I would jump all over a Model 16 K-32. I'd even overlook the MIM and Lock although I would get one of Bulleye Smith's plugs for it.

We'll never see a K32, for the reason that although we would buy one, not enough other people would.......32 S&W Long is not a caliber that sells guns.

Right now people want .22's and Hand Cannons, but "tweener" rounds that have pretty much been dead for decades won't entice S&W to make one.......32 S&W Long is neither powerful or cheap. People will pay $3 a round to touch off .500's at the range, and will pay $700 for a .22 LR revolver they can shoot all day for pennies. But people won't pay $700 for a revolver that shoots a low powered round that still costs $20 a box.

I'd buy one immediately but I don't have any great hopes of S&W producing them though since they wouldn't be popular enough to produce even a limited run.

32 S&W Long ammo is expensive if you buy new loaded ammo.

It is however, extremely cheap to shoot if you reload.

I buy 100 gr Lead SWC bullets for $29 per 500.

A 1 pound can of Titegroup lasts nearly forever with the 32 at about 2 grains per round. (2 grains per round, 7000 grains to the pound = about 3500 rounds loaded)

Primers are market price for small pistol.

Brass is relatively easy to find and seems to last forever.

I load for 32 S&W, 32 S&W Long, and 32 H&R. They are really fun calibers.
