Brushed Bronze T-Grip?

Not to hijack this thread, but I'd like to add a T-Grip to my Model 28-2. Can't decide which one, but am leaning towards the brushed bronze one. Does anyone have an image of one of these installed?

Ordered one for a j-frame on July 23rd. Still no sign of it.......

As far as the look of the bronze one goes, there's a half decent picture on their website showing what each look like on various revolvers.

T-Grip

I sent them a check on May 12,2010 check was cashed but no T-Grip as of yet I called in August they said that it would be mailed shortly now it's Sept 12TH no adapter.

4 months and counting? wow!! maybe christmas for me? probably unreasonable to expect something that soon. ..... I wonder if anyone can beat 4 months and waiting?

I ordered T-grips for my model 36 back on June 4th, check hit the bank on June 11th. I called after 10 weeks, around the middle of August. I was told by Brian that they should ship anytime, that they had the polished ones in stock. Well, I called again September 3rd. I was told by Brian that my order had been misplaced as thinking it had already shipped. He was able to locate it, and told me I should receive it by the 9th of September. Well here it is the 14th and still no grips.

I tried to call yesterday on the 13th and it turns out they were not taking any calls from the 6th to 13th at 1:00 PM. Well, I tried numnerous times after 1 and still get the same recording. I get the same recording this morning. Plus they have no email(need to move into the 21st century) so phone is the only method of contact. Unless someone on here lives in OKC and go over there.

Must be nice for a company well we have too much business so we are just going to shut down for a few days. I doubt I will ever do business with them again. Right now I feel as if I have been ripped off. I my case it was only about $35, but just the idea.

They received my check on May 21st for (3) brushed aluminum square-K t-grips......still waiting. I spoke with Bryan (I think) on the phone about 3 weeks ago and he assured me they'd be shipped the end of that week or the beginning of the next. His word means a great deal to me at this point.

Welcome to the Party.

I've been told the same thing on three different occasions.

Too bad things are slipping over there at Tyler T-grips. I ordered four N-frame T-grips about a year ago, two for me and two for a buddy. The quality was good and I did get them after about seven weeks.

The only competition they have are some old stock tylers floating around and some old stock Pachmayrs(rubber).

Reading this reminds me why I haven't tried these. I would like to have a few in different sizes to try on various models, but I think I'll pass and maybe look for used ones. I have more grips/stocks than I will ever use anyway!

I'm getting ready to order 3 grips and man, I hate too. Their turn around time has always been TERRIBLE, but what are you gonna do? Seems like they would lay on some help, but I suspect it's not that business is that good, but that they have other priorities. I hate businesses that are run as hobbies!

I wish I had seen this thread a few weeks ago. I ordered one for a J-frame around the first of Sept, added up 6-8 weeks per their website, and came up with a delivery date of around 1 Nov. Based on your experiences, I guess that ain't gonna happen...but if they had told me 12 weeks, I guess I would have still placed the order. I couldn't find anything else similar on the market, but they should know their production times and be more realistic .

My payment was received by them May 14th. I called last week of July and they said I would have them by the end of the week. Did not receive them and was gone a week on vacation. Made two or three calls since and they said that they would get them in the mail. I am patient, but discouraged since they said they would get them in the mail. Will give them a couple more weeks and then request a refund. Sixteen weeks is quite a wait.

I got so frustraded with the Tyler company that I cancelled my order, now I have been waiting on my check for 2 weeks now, The woman got offended when i informed her that every time I contacted them they had a different answer. Alls I want now is my money from them. I think they could do a better job with public relations. If I soon don't get my money, I will contact the Oklahoma BBB. and soon maybe the oklahoma atorney general. I personnly don't believe a damn thing they say and also think their product stinks after viewing some of their products from a friend, save your money and buy Hogue or something else.

Wow, I ordered mine in mid July and thought I was having a long wait.

I agree with the quality issue. The new ones aren't even close to the fit and finish of the old ones. I have a new one for a J frame that was uneven, with most of the right side sticking out away from the frame, while the left side rode under the frame. It's ridiculous that they can't manage to make a simple little piece of aluminum right and on time.

I love their grips and have them on all my K frames. But the last one I ordered was from E Bay.

Believe me, I've thought about asking for a refund but figured this is what would happen, I'd be waiting this long for my money. I guess I'd rather just wait for the product even if it's completely ridiculous that I have to. ETA when I ordered per the website was 4-6 weeks I believe, maybe 4-5 weeks.

Prior to ordering I'd been trying to keep my eye out for one in the Classifieds but they'd always get snatched up right away. I figured if I was placing an order I might as well get a couple extras to help someone out once I, if ever,, get them. Also, the per unit cost was less.
