If it isn't one thing it's another. Stopped in one of my LGS since the snow and ice has slacked off a bit to pick up another suppressor and then it happened. After being escorted to a secret location I had a gorgeous Union Switch & Signal 45 placed in my hand. The price was out of my normal range, but I'm sure some arrangements could be made.

I guess it boils down to purchasing a piece of history or not.

Decisions, decisions.

Might have been mine. I was born and raised not far from Olive Hill (but on the other side of the river), bought a DCM US&S .45 in the late 1950s, and several years later sold it locally.

The slide looks pristine. If you make an offer ensure the slide and frame match (serial number for US&S) Also correct barrel. Small parts can also unique to year made and manufacturer. Changes occurred throughout production. I believe US&S only made 35,000. Colt and Ithaca made about 350,000 each and Remington Rand made over 1,000,000. If it is correct it would be a buy for me.

1911's have really gone up in the past years...especially US&S and WWI'S. I had at one timme maybe a dozen of them but sold off most.

That gun is very nice. I sold one about 4 months ago that was a 95% gun and got 9k for it, if your into for less than that your ok.
