I'm not in love with the 4516-2 I just got, I like the fit and feel of the SW99 more. So now I need to get a real estimate of the current value. I have replaced the recoil springs, mag springs, mag followers and floor plates with new. It has hogue grips and no holster wear. There are only a few small scuffs on the frame and it is still very tight. It looks like it lived most of its life in a drawer. I checked gunbroker, but didn't see any -2s in the recent auctions. Anyway, what is a good starting point for this gun? Thanks!

I see them going from 450 to 550 . I have a 4516 dash2 with six mags I like it I got 5 of the mags new in the sw wrapper for 50 at a show that was for all off them . I dont see alot off 4516 in the gun shops for sale .

Right now I see 3rd generations going for less than $400 all over. CDNN has 6906 like new for 379. That's the best 9mm made in my opinion. 5906 for 329. Pro guns has similar pricing.
So you may get $500,to the right person, but there are quite a few coming in now.
I live in Jax, you meet me in lake city, maybe we can work out a price. email me if interested.
