my g/f has one, that was her father's; she calls it Cheryl. :)

we were talking about it, and she was wondering what she could get for it, if she ever had to sell it. not that she wants to, it's just a hypothetical question. it locks up tight, has been maintained with love, and except for some wear on the very end of the barrel, looks new.

this isn't her gun, but it's the exact same version; hers is in pristine condition.

in case she ever had to part with it, what would be a fair asking price for it? the first few numbers for it are D8857##, if that helps.

SN puts it about 1976-77.

Value is very subjective.

If it had the original box, grips, papers, tools, etc. and was in mint condition, I'd pay $500 cash today.

But then again, I live in crazy California.

Good Luck!

:) Lou is I guess spot on for Cal. I bought one in good shape about a year ago for $450. It came with the box and some nice grips. Don

Checked one out recently @ Piestracks that was 99% and was $450...had all the paperwork and a box. Went back the next day and it was sold...let me know if she decides to sell. Come to Old Forge for Pizza. ;)
